Benefits to You

Charitable gifts from an estate offer tax planning opportunities. A bequest to Meerkerk Gardens may provide a tax charitable deduction, reducing the amount of tax your estate must pay. You may also receive tax benefits when you name Meerkerk Gardens as a beneficiary of your retirement plan, 401(k), or IRA. Your gift can satisfy all or part of your required minimum distribution.

Gifts can also be made through a will or trust, the sale of real estate, or by naming Meerkerk Gardens as a life insurance policy beneficiary.  When considering a planned gift, it’s best to seek the advice of a professional tax advisor or attorney.
