Enjoy the gardens and listen to the music from noon - 4 p.m. Featuring Ricky Gene Powell and the Boys of Greenwood Glen, and Salish Moon,
Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Regular tickets until sold out: $25 (bring your own chair). Children under 13 enter at no charge.
Premium tickets $35 (include chair and one drink ticket for beer, wine, or non-alcoholic drink). For children under 13 to have a chair and non-alcoholic drink provided, a premium ticket must be purchased.
Premium tickets are only available through August 1.
Dogs on leash are welcome, always.
All proceeds from ticket sales and beverages directly support Meerkerk Gardens’ mission and vision.
We need volunteers to help at the event. Volunteers each receive 6 free passes to Meerkerk Gardens.

Ricky Gene Powell & Boys of Greenwood Glen Celtic Cowboy Singing Americana Heritage
From the mythical land of Emerald Dreams, Boys of Greenwood Glen is a celebration of Americana Heritage Music. The Celtic World meets Modern Bluegrass along with front porch Old Time tunes, sweet Gospel and bopping Country Western dance numbers.
Boys of Greenwood Glen’s arrangements of traditional tunes are always creative & spontaneous. Ricky Gene's musical performances are known for their fun & uplifting spirit. Ever changing with diverse influences ranging from Bob Wills to Jerry Garcia, Bluegrass to Soul, New Acoustic to Funk, Blues, Reggae, Irish & Latin Jazz, yet still deeply rooted in our shared traditions.
Boys of a Greenwood Glen’s infectious, uplifting music is joyfully performed, featuring a stellar lineup of musicians, all of whom possess a tremendous ability to provide a transformative experience, while creating fresh approaches to collaborative music.

The members of Salish Moon met at the Whidbey Island Center for the arts sponsored bluegrass jams in 2021 and formed Salish Moon out of a mutual enjoyment of playing American roots music, bluegrass , classic country, and some fun old pop songs. The bassist is from Bothel while the rest of the band are South Whidbeyites.They play mostly cover tunes with an occasional original thrown in and feature vocals with soaring harmonies and blazing instrumental breaks.
